About Us

We at TrekNomads Foundation, are passionate about bringing positive change to the remote mountain villages and surrounding ecosystems. We are also working on building sustainable and eco-friendly solutions to fight climate change. We started as a trekking community in 2016. The more met the local on-ground communities, the more we realized that the remote mountain villages near the forests and the mountains are in dire need of help. With an average income of <Rs 2,500 per month, these villages mostly rely only on tourism as a source of income.

With an objective to bring a larger impact, we started TrekNomads Foundation. A Non Profit Organisation with a vision to help improve lives of millions of villagers residing in remote mountain villages in India.

In last the last four years, we have worked with local communities, government agencies and our trekking communities to bring this change. We have conducted numerous trail and river/rivulate clean ups, provided disaster rehabilitation support and helped support the local communities financially during the corona pendamic when toursim came to an absolute stand still.

We are now looking at working towards bringing in a larger change by partnering with Corporates, HNIs, Individuals and other NGOs to achieve the above objectives and help improve the conditions in these communities.
